What is Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis is not a form of sleep nor is it a form of mind control, You are aware of what is happening, You get to accept or reject any suggestions given to you, You are also in control of your actions or behaviour, and You will not do anything that goes against your values or wishes.

What happens in my hypnotherapy sessions?
Pre-Talk. This is where we discuss your goals, issue and expectations. I will be happy to discuss any concerns or questions you may have. It is important we develop trust, a good rapport and clear goals for your session.
Hypnosis. This is where I guide you into a deeply relaxated state like called trance, it allows incredibly focused attention. Using various techniques such as breath work, imagery and suggestion I then communicate with your subconscious mind, to assist positive changes in your thoughts, feeling and habits. You may have vivid images, insights or memories, these are all beneficial aspects of the hypnosis process, and they indicate you are responding well.
Post-Talk. After bringing you back to full awareness, feeling refreshed and wide awake, we will review the session. I may give you some homework to help reinforce the changes we have made.
